Louisiana became a part of the "Internet for All" campaign. In rural areas, the "Internet for All" program contributes to the expansion of high-speed internet access. Construction, facilities, and equipment are funded by the program.

Broadband connections in Louisiana are defined as having a minimum download speed of 100 megabits per second (for data to load onto your computer or device from the internet) and an upload speed of 20 megabits per second (for data to be sent from your computer or device to the internet).
Broadband for All Louisianans in the State of Louisiana. all Louisianans will have universal access to broadband service with a minimum committed speed of 25 megabits per second (Mbps) download and 3 Mbps upload, scalable to up to 100 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload. This will increase both the adoption and availability of broadband service for residents of Louisiana.
